Vintage Fender Stratocaster - USA 1981

Here is a nice Fender Stratocaster, USA made in 1981 and finished in a classy all black finish. It is in original, unchanged condition. It features a solid ash body and a bolt-on maple neck with maple fingerboard. The neck actually dates to '79.

This one is super clean for a 41-year-old guitar. It has a few scuffs & light marks its original shiny finish, but nothing significant. There is almost no buckle rash on the back, and there is no tarnishing of the metal parts. There are no structural issues, and this thing feels great to play. The are some small marks on the underside of the fingerboard but don't affect the playing of the guitar.

The frets are in great shape, all electronics work 100%, the neck is clean & comfortable, and the pickups are bright and snappy sounding. It has a 5-way blade switch and weighs 10.15 lbs.

This Fender Stratocaster has all original parts from the day it was purchased giving the classic tones and feel expected of this 1981 vintage guitar.

All in all, an excellent, original late 70s/early 80s Strat in classic natural finish, with that magnificent oversize headstock, rear skunk stripe and a 3 bolt neck joint that does NOT move or slide around. Quite a looker, with sound to match.

Comes in original Fender tolex case in good condition.
