Built in South Korea during the early 2000s, this Ovation Celebrity Deluxe CSD-225 carries serial number 4447094 and showcases one of the most innovative acoustic designs Ovation ever produced. Combining both a 12-string and 6-string neck on a single instrument, it was engineered to provide exceptional versatility while remaining surprisingly comfortable thanks to Ovation's renowned Super Shallow Lyrachord body.

Paired with a solid spruce top and Ovation's Elite multi-soundhole design, the result is a balanced, articulate acoustic voice with excellent projection and outstanding feedback resistance when amplified. The multi-soundhole layout also allows the centre of the soundboard to remain stronger and more rigid, helping the guitar cope with the increased string tension while enhancing resonance.

The two necks share a comfortable playing feel, each featuring a bound rosewood fingerboard and satin-finished three-piece nato neck reinforced with Ovation's internal aluminium support system for long-term stability. Equipped with the OP-24+ active preamp, individual undersaddle pickups, and a three-way selector switch, players can instantly choose between the 6-string, the 12-string, or combine both for an incredibly rich, layered sound.
