The Morgan PR12 is one of Joe Morgan’s most loved designs and has earned a reputation as a modern boutique take on the mid sixties Fender Princeton Reverb circuit. It keeps the simplicity and musicality of the original but offers more headroom, a fuller low end and a richer more open character that works beautifully for studio and stage. This example is a 2020 - 2022 build and is in excellent working condition with only light superficial wear to the exterior.

The amp features a Celestion G12M Greenback which gives it a sweet midrange push, smooth top end and a warm breakup when driven. Combined with the fixed bias 6V6 power section, the PR12 has a lively responsive feel and takes pedals extremely well.

The control panel is simple and intuitive with dwell, reverb, bass, treble and volume controls, along with on and standby switches. The dwell control lets you shape how hard the reverb circuit is driven which gives you far more range than a standard Princeton style reverb. The overall result is an amp that stays true to the vintage Fender character while offering the clarity, tightness and reliability players expect from a boutique modern build.
