The 2013 Gibson Angus Young SG ‘Thunderstruck’ pays tribute to the legendary Aussie riff machine with a sleek set of custom specs, fiery pickups, and stage-ready feel.

This limited edition signature model features a mahogany body and neck in a deep, rich Dark Cherry finish, built for fast lead work and big open chords alike. The lightweight construction (just 2.9kg / 6.39lb) and compact nut width (39.56mm) make this one of the most agile-feeling SGs around - a true speed demon with bite.

It’s loaded with Angus’ signature humbuckers, delivering the tight, punchy attack and raunchy upper-mid snarl that defined the band’s classic records. Plug it into a cranked Marshall and you’ll know exactly where your money went.

The fingerboard is adorned with lightning bolt inlays - a nod to Angus’ electrifying persona and a standout feature that makes this model instantly recognisable.

Playability is superb, with low, slick action measuring 0.5mm at the 1st fret and 1.5mm at the 12th, and a neck that stays slim and comfortable all the way up (21.16mm depth at the 1st fret, 21.74mm at the 12th).
