Gibson ES-339 Studio - USA 2014

The Gibson ES-339 Studio delivers the iconic semi-hollow Gibson tone in a compact, stripped-back format. Built in Gibson’s Memphis facility, this model takes the proven ES-339 design and simplifies it for the working player - same tonewood recipe and resonance, minus the ornate bindings and complex controls.

The laminated maple body with solid maple centre block produces the warm, open tone Gibson’s ES range is known for, while keeping feedback to a minimum. A mahogany neck and rosewood fingerboard give a smooth, balanced feel under the fingers, with simple dot inlays for a clean aesthetic.

Electronics are streamlined with Gibson ’57 Classic (neck) and '57 Super (bridge) humbuckers wired to a master volume and master tone - offering everything from sweet, woody cleans to rich overdriven bite with effortless control. The smaller 339 body size makes it lightweight and perfectly balanced, ideal for both stage and studio work.

Finished in sleek Ebony, this example remains very clean overall, with just a few minor marks in isolated spots. Includes its original Gibson hard case and Certificate of Authenticity.
