Fenech D-78 Dreadnought - Aus 2023

Here is a 2023 Fenech D-78 dreadnought, a beautifully crafted example of modern Australian luthiery built on the Gold Coast by Fenech Guitars. Designed under Gerard Fenech’s highly regarded workshop standards, this instrument reflects a blend of traditional craftsmanship and contemporary precision, placing it firmly among today’s leading boutique acoustic builds.

This example features a dreadnought body shape that delivers a powerful, balanced voice with strong projection and an even response across the tonal spectrum. The build is voiced for clarity and depth, offering rich low end, detailed mids, and crisp, articulate highs that remain controlled and musical under both light and aggressive playing styles.

The gloss finish highlights the carefully selected tonewoods while maintaining a resonant and open character, adding subtle visual refinement without compromising acoustic response. In the hands, the guitar feels highly responsive and dynamic, with excellent sensitivity that suits both studio recording and live performance environments.

Condition is excellent with very light playwear and a clean overall presentation. It has been professionally set up and is ready for stage or studio use.
