Fender Thinline Telecaster Partscaster - USA 2026

This is a Telecaster Thinline built the way a player would spec one, using good parts and clever choices throughout. It starts with a double-bound, semi-hollow alder body finished in Purple Sparkle, which throws the light in all directions and looks wild next to the white pickguard and the amber maple neck. It’s in as-new condition and has never been played.

The neck is a genuine Fender American Vintage II 1972 Telecaster Thinline neck, a one-piece maple C-shape with a 7.25 inch radius fingerboard and black dot markers. It has Fender’s American Series Micro-Tilt adjustment and a matching four-bolt neck plate, so you can fine-tune the neck angle without any shimming. The white, black and white pickguard was designed and CNC-cut by David Fletcher of Fletcher Handcrafted Guitars, and the knobs are Fender witch’s hats, four of them on the lower bout for two volumes and two tones, with quality CTS 1 Meg pots behind them.

The sound is where the build pays off. Two genuine Fender USA CuNiFe Wide Range humbuckers give a clear, open and detailed tone, with more sparkle and definition than a typical humbucker and plenty of body behind it. The semi-hollow construction adds air and resonance, so chords bloom and single notes sing. It suits everything from clean jazzy tones to crunchy rock, and it keeps the snap that makes a Telecaster what it is.

The bridge is an Allparts/Gotoh cut-off Tele bridge with three intonating brass saddles, and the body is also routed for a Jazzmaster or Jaguar tremolo. A Herd Jazzmaster/Jaguar hardtail plate is fitted, so you can string it through the body or load it from the top, and you can add a tremolo later if you want one. A Fender 610 gig bag is included.

It’s a Tele with a mind of its own, and every part of it was chosen to be there.
