This instrument is in excellent, almost new condition with virtually no player wear, which is remarkable considering it is nearly 30 years old. It plays seriously well with a light, low action and a good setup.
This guitar has a lovely maple neck that has no dents or marks whatsoever, allowing easy play. The rosewood fingerboard looks amazing, there is some slight fretwear but very moderate. The body of this guitar is in excellent shape, with only one or two very small dings and some slight scratches, but barely visible. It's a great looking guitar; the dark Sunburst finish looking immaculate.
The pickup system has been changed in this Tele to the following format, with a middle pickup being installed:
Bridge Pickup: Two Fender Lace Sensor (Gold, Blue) Single coils
The work was completed at Turramurra Music and the original pickups are still in the case and included in the sale. One of the pickups in the case is not working.
This is a great guitar that has been well looked after, it is versatile with a wide range of pickup settings allowing the player to find the exact Tele sound they are looking for.
At this price we think it’s a great deal for a high-quality Telecaster that looks and sounds top shelf.
Comes with Fender tweed hardshell case.
