Ron Thorn is one of Fender’s most respected Master Builders, known for his precision, craftsmanship and the clean elegant aesthetic that defined his work both at Thorn Guitars and later within the Fender Custom Shop. His builds are prized for their attention to detail, exceptional fretwork and perfectly executed neck profiles, and this roasted flame maple neck is a great example of his approach. Beautifully made and visually striking, it has a rich dark roast, tight flame and a smooth satin feel that makes it immediately comfortable in the hand.

The profile is a chunky C that fills the palm without feeling unwieldy, offering excellent stability and a strong fundamental tone. The carve is measured at 22.26 mm at the first fret and 24.44 mm at the twelfth, giving it a confident taper that suits players who like a substantial neck with a refined contour. Nut width is 41.9 mm with a width of 51.68 mm at the twelfth fret, providing a familiar Fender feel with excellent playability across the board.
