Fender AVRI Telecaster '52 Reissue - USA 1995

Here is a mid-1990s Fender American Vintage ’52 Reissue Telecaster, built in Corona, California in October 1995. A beautifully executed example of Fender’s early American Vintage Reissue program, it captures the essence of the original 1952 Telecaster design with period-correct materials, construction and feel. The ash body finished in Butterscotch Blonde, paired with a one-piece maple neck, delivers the classic formula that defined the early Tele sound.

This example features the original Fender American Vintage single-coil pickups, wired to a vintage-spec 3-way switching system with cloth wiring and period-correct pots. It delivers everything you’d expect from a great ’52-style Tele - sharp attack, clear articulation and that signature woody midrange snap, with plenty of twang and dynamic response depending on touch and picking style.

The neck is dated October 1995 at the heel, with Fender’s Corona factory markings confirming its production period, placing it firmly within the respected mid-’90s AVRI era. These early Corona reissues are particularly well regarded for their resonance, build consistency and authentic vintage-inspired feel, sitting at an important point between the earlier Fullerton influence and later Pure Vintage production.

Condition is very good with honest, light cosmetic ageing consistent with use, and everything functions as it should. Supplied in its original Fender tweed hard shell case with original lead and case candy, this is a strong, well-preserved example of the classic ’52 Telecaster reissue formula.
