Fender American Standard Stratocaster – USA 2011

The Fender Stratocaster is arguably the most popular electric guitar ever designed.

In 1981, the American-made Stratocaster was renamed the Standard Stratocaster to avoid confusion with other models originating outside USA. In 1986, it was renamed the American Standard Stratocaster followed by American Series Stratocaster in 2000 and then the American Standard Series Stratocaster in 2008. In most cases, all of these Stratocasters can simply be referred to as the American Standard Stratocaster. As Fender's primary production Stratocaster, this model has stayed largely the same since the early '80s. 

This is a straight up, great playing USA Strat in excellent overall shape and a nice set of upgraded tuners.

Features on this one include a beautiful sunburst finish, modern-style 2 point trem bridge, and a great playing maple fingerboard. Solid contoured alder body, modern-style bridge with six individual saddles, skirted control knobs and a 3-ply pickguard. 

Modern C shaped maple neck with a skunk stripe down the back and a neck tilt adjustment at the neck heel. Rosewood fingerboard with white dot inlays and a 1 11/16” nut.

The original Fender tuners have been replaced by a set of Aged Kluson Deluxe units – the original tuners are in the case.

Pickups are 3 x American Standard Strat Single Coil Pickups

Master volume control, dual tone controls and a 5-way selector switch.

Apart from some light surface scratches on the pickguard, there are no dings, dents or other blemishes on this guitar. It is super clean. The fingerboard and frets are in great shape with minimal player wear and tons of life left in them. The neck is straight with a very comfortable action. All electronics and parts are in perfect working condition.

A classic workhorse USA Stratocaster in fine playing condition, with another 50 years to go.
