This US built American Performer Stratocaster delivers a healthy combination of modern and traditional tones at a price that won't drain your wallet. But don't let the stripped-down price fool you into thinking it's a stripped-down guitar.

Its few modifications include a new white pickguard that looks the business, and the stock pickups have been replaced with great sounding Custom Shop Fat 60s pickups. The push/pull feature has also been removed.

It delivers in every way that a modern Strat should – the Fat 60s pickups are chimey and punchy, with plenty of versatility available to the player looking for their desired sound.

This one was bought new by its one owner in 2019, and it presents in the same condition today. Apart from some very light swirls on the guard there is no sign of player wear at all. There is a small mark near the top bout, which is the guitar’s only real blemish.

This is a modern US Strat in excellent condition for way less than retail price.

Comes in its original Fender case.
