Collings City Limits - USA 2010

Here is a Collings City Limits in Iced Tea finish, a beautifully crafted modern single-cut that represents Collings’ take on the classic carved-top guitar. Built in Austin, Texas, the City Limits blends seasoned maple and Honduran mahogany with a lightweight, highly resonant construction, delivering exceptional sustain, clarity, and harmonic complexity. The elegant contouring and meticulous fit-and-finish reflect Collings’ reputation for precision and refinement.

This example features a stunning flame maple top over a mahogany body, paired with an East Indian rosewood fingerboard and a comfortable, Gibson-inspired feel. It has been upgraded with a set of Lollar Imperial humbuckers, delivering warm, articulate tone with excellent dynamic range—smooth cleans, rich midrange, and focused, expressive overdrive. The guitar responds effortlessly to touch and volume changes, making it highly versatile across blues, rock, and more refined clean work.

Playability is excellent, with a well-balanced setup and smooth, fast neck feel. Condition is very good overall, showing some light scuffs, minor marks, and a touch of buckle wear on the back, but nothing affecting performance. The neck and playing surfaces remain clean and comfortable.

A superbly built, player-focused single-cut that blends vintage inspiration with modern precision. Comes with its original hardshell case.
