Following years of inconsistent production through the 1970s and 1980s, the brand was revitalised after its acquisition by Korg in 1994. Manufacturing was brought back in line with original specifications, with production handled in the UK. These models were built closely to the original circuit design by Dick Denney, with only minor updates for safety and reliability, including the addition of a standby switch, improved cooling, and revised voltage handling.

Tonally, this era of AC30 delivers everything the model is known for. The classic chime, clarity, and top-end sparkle are front and centre, with a harmonically rich and highly responsive character.
