Vox’s long tradition of limited edition custom colour amps has been extremely popular amongst VOX players for decades. This one is in stunning purple, and it’s quite a head turner.

The VOX AC30 has earned its place in history as the amplifier that powered the British Invasion. Since then, the AC30 has remained the choice of the world’s most accomplished artists who have come to rely on its unique voice to amplify theirs.

Yes this one is made in China, but all design elements and quality control is overseen by Vox UK to stringent standards. Purists may elect to disagree, but there is some mighty fine gear coming out of China these days. And it has to be better than just good to compete on the world stage. This is an example of a classic, time tested design being assembled with high quality components in another country where simple scale of economics makes the whole project viable.

But it’s in the playing that the true test occurs. So it may be worth putting aside any possible prejudices & having a good listen with an open mind, and open ears. This is a very versatile combo amp, with tons of character true to the Vox legacy. It covers a lot of ground, with a punchy, chimey sound that can be tailored to your needs from clean to crunch, from churn to burn. Definitely worth a look-in.

It is in excellent condition with not a mark on the tolex. It has had no changes or modifications and presents pretty much as new.

In this age of megabuck “boutique” amplifiers, the VOX AC30 still proudly holds its own.
