This is a great 2008 reissue of the iconic 70s Music Man Stingray Bass.
The Stingray bass was introduced in 1976 and has since become Music Man's most iconic instrument. As a result of a 10 year non-complete clause signed by Leo Fender when he sold Fender to CBS in 1965, Leo did not start building new instruments in earnest until the mid-'70s. The original Stringray is an absolutely key example of Leo Fender's initial reimergence via his new company Music Man. It features a hard maple fingerboard as well as innovative active electronics.

This one is a great player, with an excellent recent setup. The neck is on the medium side and plays silky smooth. It has a nice low action and plays easily all the way up the neck.
Tonally this thing is a monster. The active humbucker pickup sounds huge, with beautiful low end and punchy midrange. The active tone circuitry allows you to dial up lots of sounds, from fat and clean, to funky quack, to balls-to-the-wall.
Apart from a ding on the edge of the lower bout, this Stingray is in excellent, almost new condition. It is mighty versatile and could be used for any style of music.
Comes in its original hard case in good condition.
