    ENQUIRE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

    From Gretsch:

'The Duo Jet is the Gretsch flagship "solid body" guitar, with signature power and punch coming from its chambered mahogany construction, which magnifies harmonic richness by letting air resonate between the top and body for livelier and more articulate tone.'

This guitar is a modern recreation of the classic 1957 Duo Jet, designed to capture the look, feel, and sound of that iconic era.

The standout feature of this reissue is the Dynasonic pickups. These pickups are a hallmark of vintage Gretsch guitars, known for their distinct and clear sound. They have a unique design that contributes to their tonal character. Dynasonics are single-coil pickups with large magnets and adjustable pole pieces, which result in a bright, twangy, and dynamic sound that's particularly well-suited for rock 'n' roll, rockabilly, and country genres.

The guitar itself retains the classic vibe of the original 1957 model. It features a chambered mahogany body with a single-cutaway design, giving it that vintage aesthetic. The jet black finish adds a touch of elegance and timelessness. The Bigsby vibrato tailpiece contributes to the guitar's expressive capabilities.

The guitar presents in amazing condition with hardly a mark on it - it is a joy to play weighing in at a comfortable 3.22kg. The 'C' profile neck is smooth and clean, the body is sleek and sharp - this is one cool customer! The frets show little wear and have plenty of life left in them.

The Gretsch Duo Jet 6128TSP 1957 Reissue is more than just a guitar; it's a musical time machine. When you play it, you're transported to an era when rock 'n' roll was taking its first steps, and the guitar's distinctive sound carries with it the echoes of the past. It's a piece of history that guitar enthusiasts, vintage tone seekers, and anyone with an appreciation for classic style can enjoy.
