    ENQUIRE ABOUT THIS PRODUCT

The Gibson ES-135, born in 1956, was Gibson's answer to a demand for a more affordable semi-hollow body guitar. With its unique design, it struck a balance between the warmth of a hollow body and the feedback resistance of a solid body.

Crafted with a laminated maple body and neck, the ES-135 exuded a bright, articulate tone. In its early days, it sported P-90 pickups, known for their punchy character. Later models offered the option of humbuckers for a smoother, quieter sound.

Over the years, the ES-135 underwent various refinements. Changes in finishes, pickups, and hardware were made to cater to the evolving tastes of players across genres.

Its versatility made it a favourite among musicians of different styles, from jazz and blues to rock. The ES-135 became a trusty companion in creating diverse musical expressions.

Gibson ES-135's are excellent guitars, and this example is in especially good condition. The hollowbody in this form gives you a manageable platform for exploring feedback, harmonics and overtones on stage, making the guitar feel truly alive.

This 2002 ES-135 has all its original hardware including electronics, hardware, pickguard, and knobs. It shows no cracks or repairs. The original finish shows some minor pick wear but there are no signs of buckle rash, or fingerboard pitting.

The neck is fast and sleek, with a gentle "C" profile. The frets are in good condition with plenty of life left. The pickups produce a sparkling tone - clear, detailed and rich in harmonics.

Comes in original hard shell case in good condition.
