The Furch S40-CM is an all solid full bodied Grand Auditorium shaped guitar. Made in Czech Republic, Furch Guitars began manufacturing instruments in the 1970s and now produce more than 8000 instruments annually. The S40-CM features a western red cedar top, matched with layered mahogany back and sides.

The comfortable to play C shaped African mahogany neck, is topped with an ebony fingerboard. Other features include ebony bridge, black binding, TUSQ fully compensated saddle and Furch machine heads which all combine to enhance the overall playability and look.

This Furch has very little player wear. There is some fretwear, but still plenty of life in the current frets. The guitar has a few very small dings in the top but the rest of the guitar is in remarkable shape. There is also some pickwear around the soundhole due to the lack of pickguard on this particular model.

This guitar has a robust and rich tone and is extremely resonant. Something a little unique at a great price point.

Supplied with its original hardshell case, its a beautifully crafted guitar, that sounds, plays and looks great.
