SOLD - Vintage Guild T-50 - USA 1963

The Guild T-50 was introduced in the 1950s as a stripped-down, no-nonsense archtop designed for players who wanted the warmth and resonance of a fully hollow body without the higher cost of more ornate models. Built in Guild’s Hoboken, New Jersey factory, the T-50 quickly became a favourite among jazz, blues, and rockabilly musicians for its smooth playability, rich acoustic voice, and straightforward electronics. With its lightweight construction and responsive tone, the T-50 is a perfect example of Guild’s dedication to quality craftsmanship.

This 1963 example is in excellent condition for its age, with a clean body and neck that have aged beautifully. The frets show some wear but still have plenty of life left, making it an easy player with great response.
