Presenting the 1977 Gibson Dove Custom Model Flat Top Acoustic Guitar, crafted in Kalamazoo, Michigan. This exquisite instrument boasts a striking ebony lacquer finish, maple back and sides, a spruce top, and a laminated maple neck with an ebony fingerboard. It comes with its original black hard shell case, completing the package.

The Gibson flat tops from the 1970s may not always get the recognition they deserve, but many of these guitars are hidden gems, and this Dove Custom is a prime example. Its visual appeal is undeniable, but it's the playability and sound that truly set it apart. The guitar produces that iconic Gibson midrange ring, rich and resonant. The rare black finish is a standout feature, offering a stunning contrast to the beautifully engraved, pearl-inlaid pickguard and bridge.

The maple body contributes a bright, snappy tone to the square-shouldered design, making this guitar a fantastic choice for recording sessions or as a rhythm guitar in a band setting. Despite its heavier bracing compared to the 1960s Doves, this model compensates with a much lighter solid-saddle bridge, ensuring the sound quality remains top-notch.
