Fender Masterbuilt Dale Wilson 59' Stratocaster Relic - USA 2023

Sherwood Green Metallic has become one of Fender's most sought after custom colours, and when paired with a late 1950s Stratocaster it creates one of the most desirable combinations to come out of the Custom Shop. Built in 2023 by Master Builder Dale Wilson, this 1959 Stratocaster Relic combines a classic alder body and rosewood fingerboard with Wilson's highly regarded relic work and attention to detail.

The rift sawn maple neck features a comfortable 1960 Strat "C" profile, 9.5" radius, and narrow tall 6105 frets, giving the guitar a familiar vintage feel with modern playability. A set of handwound Josefina Campos pickups provide exceptional clarity, balance, and dynamic response, delivering everything from glassy clean tones through to rich overdriven Strat sounds.

As expected from a Dale Wilson build, the ageing work is tasteful and convincing, capturing the look and feel of a well played vintage instrument without appearing overdone. Complete with its original Fender Custom Shop deluxe hard shell case, certificate of authenticity, shop traveller, and case candy, this is a particularly desirable Master Built Stratocaster from one of Fender's most respected builders.
