Here is a 2010 Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster in vibrant red gloss, a USA-built signature model that remains one of Fender’s most successful artist collaborations. Developed with Eric Clapton to reflect his preferred playing feel and tone, it combines vintage-inspired Strat character with modern refinements designed for consistency, control and reliability on stage and in the studio.

This example features Fender’s Vintage Noiseless pickups paired with the active mid-boost circuit (up to 25dB) and TBX tone control. Together, these deliver a wide tonal range - from clean, glassy Strat clarity through to thick, compressed lead tones more commonly associated with humbuckers. The system is highly responsive to pick attack and volume changes, giving the guitar a very dynamic, expressive voice.

The soft “V” maple neck provides a comfortable, familiar grip that encourages fluid playing, while the blocked tremolo system enhances tuning stability and sustain, in line with Clapton’s personal setup preferences.
