Fender Custom Shop '63 Telecaster Relic - USA 2007

Here is a 2007 Fender Custom Shop ’63 Telecaster Reissue, finished in Silver Sparkle relic, a beautifully executed Custom Shop build that captures the feel and aesthetic of Fender’s early-’60s Telecaster era. Based on the iconic Telecaster platform, this model reflects the refinement of the early ’60s design with its rosewood fingerboard, comfortable neck profile and the unmistakable snap and midrange punch that define great vintage examples.

This example features an upgraded set of Kinman Broadcaster pickups (installed in 2019), delivering classic Telecaster tone with modern noiseless performance. The result is a highly usable blend of traditional Tele twang, clarity and dynamic response, while significantly reducing the hum typically associated with single-coil designs. It retains the open, resonant character of the Custom Shop build while adding enhanced practicality for stage and studio use.

The lightweight body and vintage-accurate neck carve contribute to a naturally broken-in feel, with excellent resonance both acoustically and when amplified. The guitar responds easily to touch dynamics, offering crisp articulation and a lively, expressive voice across all playing styles.

Condition is excellent with light, tasteful relic work from the Custom Shop and no additional wear beyond the intended ageing. Playability is superb, with a comfortable action and a responsive, well-balanced feel across the neck.
