Fender '50s Strat Partscaster - Custom Shop Parts – USA 2019

Here’s a story …. 

Aussie guitar player in a small country town is keen to find his ultimate Fender Custom Shop Vintage 50s Strat. So he’s looking, looking, looking for ages but can’t find what he wants – the one that’s just right, with the specs he needs.

…. until he eventually realises that he can actually build it !

So, thanks to the wonders of the internet, which actually works quite well on his very remote property, he discovers the US guitar parts reseller The Stratosphere in Brentwood New Hampshire - https://stratosphereparts.com/

So his order is placed and duly delivered. It was –

Fender Custom Shop ’56 neck – highly figured roasted maple, light V profile, light relic - US$1299

Fender American Original Series solid ash body in sunburst with light relic treatment & loaded with CS Fat 50s pickups - US$  699

It all went together quite beautifully, and has been tweaked and set up in a most professional manner. Plays great & sounds huge.

The result is a fabulous ’56 style Fender Stratocaster created from genuine USA Custom Shop components. Of course, it plays brilliantly and sounds great.

When you add up the $$$ above plus Aussie GST + import duty + shipping, it actually comes to an amount similar to a Fender Custom Shop guitar. Except it was built specifically to the owner’s requirements.

But things have changed and it’s time to move this one on.

This guitar is in brand new condition, albeit with a light relic treatment as created by Fender. It has been used sporadically in a home and studio setting, and is ready to rock.

Comes in a hard shell SBK case in new condition, along with Fender warranty papers, Custom Shop owners manual and Certificate of Authenticity.
