Pickup currently unavailable
Here is a 1993 Continental 0-P Resonator, a rare and beautifully crafted German-made instrument finished in striking nickel plating. Built during Continental Resonator Guitars’ most respected production period, this 0-P model blends vintage American resonator styling with precise European craftsmanship, delivering a boutique-level instrument with exceptional tonal character.
This example features a nickel-plated brass body with a single spun aluminium resonator and biscuit bridge, producing a strong, focused voice with punchy mids, clear top end, and excellent acoustic projection. It excels in blues, ragtime, and slide styles, offering a dynamic and expressive response with plenty of cut and presence.
This example was built under the direction of Hans Moust, renowned luthier and author of The Resophonic Guitar, and includes a signed internal sticker verifying provenance. It carries serial number 9344371 and reflects the limited, hand-built nature of Continental’s output during this era.
The neck has a smooth, comfortable feel with excellent playability and well-balanced action, making it highly responsive under slide or standard fretting. Intonation is stable and consistent across the register, contributing to its ease of use in both studio and live settings.
Condition is excellent with only very light signs of use and everything functioning as it should. A modern, versatile and feature rich resonator with boutique European pedigree and impressive tonal depth. Comes with the original Continental hardshell case.
