SOLD - MXR Distortion 3 Pedal - USA

Here is an MXR Distortion III overdrive and distortion pedal, a compact and highly versatile gain unit designed to deliver natural, amp-like breakup across a wide range of applications. Developed using carefully selected components and a straightforward control layout, the Distortion III has earned a reputation for its responsive feel, tonal transparency, and ability to retain the core character of both the guitar and amplifier.

This example features a broad gain range that moves smoothly from low-gain edge-of-breakup tones through to rich, saturated distortion with excellent articulation and harmonic detail. Unlike many higher-gain pedals that heavily colour the signal, the Distortion III maintains impressive clarity and touch sensitivity, allowing picking dynamics and guitar volume changes to remain expressive and musical.

The simple three-control layout of Output, Tone, and Distortion makes it easy to dial in usable sounds quickly, while the compact footprint integrates easily into almost any pedalboard setup. Additional features include a heavy-duty footswitch, indicator light, and robust metal housing designed for reliable long-term use on stage or in the studio.

Condition is excellent with only light signs of use and everything functioning as it should. A dependable and musically voiced drive pedal capable of covering everything from smooth overdrive to full-bodied rock distortion with classic MXR simplicity and reliability.
