The 2012 Höfner Jassica Custom highlights the refined craftsmanship that has defined the company’s German workshop for generations. Built with a carved spruce top, flamed maple back and sides and classic Höfner detailing, the Jassica Custom brings together old world archtop tradition and modern precision in a very graceful way.

This particular guitar is in outstanding original condition. The hand carving is clean and consistent, the maple has striking figure and the hand rubbed finish gives the instrument a warm and natural depth. It feels noticeably resonant when played acoustically with a sensitivity that responds to even the lightest touch.

The floating humbucker produces a clear, open jazz voice with shimmering highs and a strong, defined midrange. The low end remains articulate which helps chords retain separation and balance.
