“The Les Paul Tribute captures the vibe, feel and tonality of a traditional Les Paul and is available in four classic finishes. A rounded maple neck profile and ultra-modern weight relief make the Gibson Les Paul Studio Tribute a pleasure to play. A mahogany body, maple top and pair of 490 R & T humbucking pickups with Alnico II magnets provide classic tone, power and sustain.
Ultra-Modern Weight Relief was developed through a slight yet carefully calculated offsetting of the chambers around the perimeters of the guitar's body to further lighten the load, without degradation in tone. It’s engineered to provide a solid core through the centre of the guitar to retain the classic Les Paul sound. Unlike a full chambered design it is less prone to feedback or affecting the tonality and resonance of the guitar.”

There is absolutely no evidence of player wear on this guitar – it presents as new. It was bought new in 2019 and has barely been touched, having lived a very quiet life inside its very plush Gibson gig bag. Time to let it roar ….
At under 8 lbs thanks to its weight-relieved body, this guitar is balanced and comfortable to play. Great action on a lovely fretboard and killer sounding pickups. Everything you could want in a Gibson USA Les Paul but with less bling and for less $$$.
…. and that most alluring Satin Honeyburst finish – quite a package.
