Here is a nice 2005 Gibson Les Paul Standard with a 60s slim tapered neck that offers the perfect combination of classic design and modern playability. The 60s slim taper neck profile ensures a fast, comfortable feel, ideal for players who enjoy a sleek, effortless grip. Its body is finished in the iconic iced tea burst, showcasing a beautifully flamed maple top that enhances the guitar’s vintage aesthetic. The original frets remain in excellent condition, offering plenty of life for years of playing.

This particular guitar features a notable upgrade: the stock bridge has been replaced with a Resomax bridge and wraparound tailpiece, enhancing sustain and intonation. The original bridge is included in the case. The guitar retains its authentic tone, combining warm mahogany body resonance with the bite of the maple top and Gibson humbuckers.

Overall, this Les Paul is in excellent condition and ready to impress. The only blemish is a small burn-like mark on the back seen in photo 4, likely caused by a chemical reaction with a guitar stand, which does not affect playability or tone. It would be an easy fix for any luthier if necessary. This is a stunning example of Gibson’s craftsmanship from this era, with timeless looks, modernised functionality, and a story to tell.
