Electro-Harmonix KEY9 Electric Piano Machine - USA 2015

The Electro-Harmonix KEY9 is part of EHX's "9 Series" of instrument emulators, in this case turning guitar, bass or keyboard into a convincing electric piano, complete with the sort of amp and mod effects those instruments were traditionally heard through, rather than just a static patch sound.

Nine selectable voices cover the classic electric piano and mallet instrument palette: Dynamo (a modified Fender Rhodes), Wurli (classic Wurlitzer with tremolo), Suitcase (Rhodes through a phase shifter), Mallets (wood marimba with chorus), Eighty Eight (Rhodes 88 with tremolo), Tri-Glorious (tri-stereo chorus), Vibes (motorised vibraphone), Organ (touch-responsive percussive organ) and Steel Drums. Dry and Keys volume knobs blend the untreated signal against the selected voice, while the two CTRL knobs change function per preset, covering things like tremolo depth and speed, chorus depth and speed, phase shifter speed, or attack, depending on which of the nine sounds is selected. It runs a buffered bypass with dedicated dry and effects outputs.

Comes complete with its original box, pouch and the included Electro-Harmonix paperwork. Condition is excellent, as new.
