Gibson Custom LPR-8 '58 Les Paul Standard R/I - USA 2012

Here is a Gibson Custom Shop ’58 Les Paul Standard Reissue in Faded Tobacco Burst with a VOS (Vintage Original Spec) finish, a beautifully executed Historic Reissue that faithfully recreates one of the most iconic electric guitars ever built. The ’58 Les Paul represents a pivotal moment in Gibson history, combining the tune-o-matic bridge and dual PAF humbuckers that helped define the classic Les Paul sound.

This example features a solid mahogany body with a carved maple top and an accurate ’50s-style neck profile, delivering a substantial yet comfortable feel. It’s equipped with a pair of Gibson Burstbucker pickups, offering warm, articulate vintage PAF-style tone with excellent clarity, dynamic response, and rich harmonic content. The guitar responds beautifully to touch, covering everything from clean blues tones to classic rock crunch with ease.

Condition is excellent with virtually no player wear, and the instrument remains completely original with no modifications since new. The finish is clean across the body, neck, and headstock, with only the lightest signs of handling and minimal wear on the pickguard and back. Frets show little to no wear and playability is superb, with a full, authentic ’50s neck feel that remains very comfortable in hand.
