Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul SG Standard - USA 2014

Here is a 2014 Gibson SG “Les Paul” Custom in Polaris White, a beautifully built example from Gibson’s Custom era that reflects the early transitional SG models originally intended to carry the Les Paul name. This version stays true to that heritage with premium appointments, classic styling, and a refined Custom Shop build quality that captures the elegance of the early-’60s SG design.

This example features a mahogany body and mahogany neck with a comfortable rounded “C” profile, paired with an ebony fingerboard, white binding, and pearl block inlays for a classic Custom aesthetic. It’s loaded with two Gibson Custombuckers, delivering rich vintage-style PAF tone with clear articulation, warm mids, and smooth top-end response. The standard Les Paul-style control layout provides familiar, versatile tone shaping with excellent dynamic range.

Hardware includes a tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece, Kluson Deluxe tuners, nickel appointments, and a 5-ply black pickguard, all complementing the elegant Polaris White finish, which has gently aged to a creamy patina. The pearl headstock inlay and “Custom” detailing complete the premium look.

Condition is excellent with only very light signs of use, including minor marks and subtle tarnishing on the pickup covers. Frets remain in great shape and playability is superb, with excellent upper fret access and a balanced, comfortable feel.
