Takamine TC132SC - Japan 2007

Takamine began building guitars in Japan in the late 1950s, originally focusing on classical instruments before expanding into steel string acoustics and becoming one of the first companies to successfully integrate onboard electronics. Over time, they built a reputation for consistency and reliability, with their guitars finding favour among working musicians for their durability and ease of use.

The TC132SC sits within that lineage as a nylon string acoustic designed with both traditional tone and modern practicality in mind. Built with a solid top and a comfortable cutaway design, it offers a familiar classical voice with added access higher up the neck.

This example presents in very clean condition, showing next to no wear aside from a small ding just below the sound hole. The frets appear to be in great condition and the guitar plays easily across the board.

In the hands it feels comfortable and responsive, with a warm, rounded tone and a clear top end that suits both fingerstyle and more articulate playing. The nylon string setup gives it a softer feel under the fingers while still maintaining clarity and definition.

It comes supplied with a non original hard shell case.
