First introduced in 1988, it was developed with direct input from Clapton himself to capture his signature tone and feel - the subtle compression, rich sustain, and smooth midrange that defined his late ’80s and ’90s sound.

This 2010 USA-built example showcases everything that’s made the model a modern classic. It features Fender’s active mid-boost circuit (up to 25dB) and TBX tone control, allowing a seamless transition from sparkling Strat clarity to thick, humbucker-like depth. The soft “V” maple neck provides that unmistakable Clapton comfort, while the Vintage Noiseless pickups deliver the trademark shimmer without the hum.
