This beautiful, built to order, Robin Moyes built guitar arrived in our showroom last week and we have been blown away with its wonderful tone and playability. You can see, feel and hear the attention to detail in Robin's build, implementing techniques including a radially braced top, a variation of fan-bracing pioneered by highly revered luthier, Simon Marty. Speaking to Robin, he mentioned that this particular guitar is an updated version of a guitar he built for Tommy Emmanuel in the 1970s.

Sporting a gorgeous ebony fretboard atop the mahogany neck, European spruce top, Indian rosewood body and Madagascan rosewood bridge and headplate, this beauty is comprised of the finest materials and tonewoods to produce a seriously special instrument.

The back of the guitar shows an interesting pattern, we can see that the sun has gone to work on the exposed areas as the guitar has sat in its stand over time - it actually looks quite cool! The neck may have had a respray at some point in this guitars life. 

The top is 'traditional' thickness giving plenty of warmness and resonance in tone, there is truss rod accessibility through the soundhole to tweak this guitar to exactly your preference. Equipped with Gilbert tuning machines that hold tune perfectly and a great-sounding Fishman pickup, there has been no stone left unturned in the pursuit of excellence here.
