Rickenbacker 330/12 Jetglo - USA 2009
Pickup currently unavailable
Here’s a fantastic example of one of Rickenbacker’s most recognisable and best-loved models — a 2009 Rickenbacker 330/12 in Jetglo, the quintessential 12-string electric that helped define the sound of the '60s and continues to inspire players across genres.
The 330/12 is a cornerstone of the Rickenbacker lineup — a workhorse 12-string that blends comfort, style, and unmistakable chime. Introduced in the early 1960s and famously used by artists like George Harrison, Roger McGuinn, and Tom Petty, this model brought the electric 12-string into the mainstream. Its semi-hollow construction, slim profile, and unmistakable tone made it a staple of jangle pop, folk rock, and beyond.
This 2009 example features the classic double-cutaway body, unbound with dot inlays, and a sleek Jetglo finish that oozes vintage cool. The dual Rickenbacker high-gain pickups deliver that unmistakable top-end sparkle and natural compression the brand is known for — rich, percussive, and harmonically rich. It rings out in chords and responds beautifully to arpeggios, with plenty of shimmer and tight low-end clarity.
Playability is excellent with a comfortable slim neck, classic short-scale feel, and light string tension that makes it surprisingly easy to handle for a 12-string. It holds tune well, and the action is smooth all the way up the board. It’s currently set up and ready to play.
Condition is very good overall, with just some minor dings and marks from honest use. Nothing major — just light cosmetic wear typical of a well-cared-for instrument that’s been enjoyed. It’s clean, functional, and full of character — a killer 12-string that’s as reliable as it is inspiring.
