Maton EM300 Natural Series - AUS 1991
Pickup currently unavailable
Here is a Maton EM300 Natural Series dreadnought, a dependable Australian-made acoustic built for everyday playing, gigging, and songwriting. Known for its straightforward design and strong performance, it delivers the classic Maton balance of durability, clarity, and projection at an accessible level.
This example features a solid spruce top paired with mahogany back and sides, producing a warm, balanced tonal character with clear midrange presence, strong low-end response, and excellent overall string separation. It’s a voice that works well for strumming, flatpicking, and general acoustic performance.
This example features Maton’s practical, performance-focused hardware including closed-back tuners and an adjustable bridge system, offering reliable tuning stability and straightforward setup flexibility. The neck is straight and comfortable with a medium-low action that makes it easy to play across all positions.
Playability is excellent, with a familiar dreadnought feel and a responsive, even response across the fingerboard. It has been well looked after by its original owner and remains structurally solid with plenty of fret life remaining.
Condition is very good for its age with only light cosmetic wear, including minor dings, light scratches, and very subtle buckle rash. A reliable, great-sounding Maton dreadnought that has plenty of life left and is ready for continued stage or home use. Comes with a TKL hard case in good condition.
