EarthQuaker Devices Organizer Polyphonic Organ Emulator

The EarthQuaker Devices Organizer approaches octave effects from a different angle, aiming less toward precise pitch shifting and more toward recreating the layered character of old electric organs and the vintage “Guitorgan” sound. Using a combination of analog circuitry and DSP processing, it produces a warm, slightly warbled response that feels more organic than many modern octave pedals.

The controls allow you to blend octave up and octave down voices alongside the dry signal, while the “Choir” function regenerates the harmonics into additional octave layers for a fuller organ style texture. A dedicated lag control introduces delay to the effected signal, helping create the softer attack associated with vintage organ tones. The Organizer tracks chords and single notes cleanly across both guitar and bass, and has become popular beyond stringed instruments on vocals, synths, and percussion.
