The rosewood fingerboard carries white block inlays, and the black headstock has the gold Maton script. It’s all very Les Paul in its layout, but the details say Maton, and the whole guitar has the solid, considered feel of a proper Australian build. It’s in excellent condition, and it has been well cared for.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp dir=\"ltr\"\u003eThe sound suits the looks. Two humbuckers give it a thick, warm voice with plenty of sustain, and the set neck and carved top add resonance you can feel through the body. It handles crunchy rock rhythm, singing blues leads and heavier tones with ease, and it feels solid and stable under the hands.
