Rather than simply refinishing and ageing an existing guitar, their Deluxe Makeover is an extensive process that addresses the instrument as a whole, including the top carve, neck profile, fingerboard, inlays, nut, finish and many of the smaller details that separate an original Burst from a modern reissue.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"isSelectedEnd\"\u003e\u003cspan\u003eOffered here is a 2018 Gibson Custom Historic 1960 Les Paul Reissue LPR-0, serial number 08822, which received the full Historic Makeovers Deluxe package in 2020 and is finished in Dirty Lemon Burst. As part of the process, the guitar received a vintage correct top carve and neck work, Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, cellulose nitrate inlays and 6\/6 nylon nut. Historic Makeovers then refinished the guitar using aniline dyes and their specially formulated nitrocellulose lacquer before weather checking and ageing the finish.
