About Heritage USA –

Heritage Guitar Inc of Parsons St, Kalamazoo, Michigan was incorporated in 1985. The company is now 35 years old, and has achieved the status of one of the premier guitar manufacturers in the world today. Heritage is often thought of as the collectible guitar of tomorrow.

Heritage Guitar began when the Gibson Guitar Corporation closed its Kalamazoo, Michigan factory in September of 1984 and moved all production to its other plant in Nashville, Tennessee. At the time, some of the employees decided not to uproot their families and move. So three men, Jim Deurloo, Marvin Lamb, and JP Moats, decided to start a guitar manufacturing business. Two other former Gibson employees, Bill Paige and Mike Korpak, joined as owners.

The founders’ most valuable asset was the group of craftsmen they could draw upon to begin operations. The owners themselves had more than 25 years each of guitar making experience. Heritage started operations in the oldest of five buildings formerly owned and operated by Gibson, and most of the machinery that Heritage still uses today was purchased from Gibson.

From Heritage –

“Heritage Standard H-535 Semi-Hollow Electric Guitar in Antique Natural is a versatile workhorse that features a solid centre block and laminated figured maple construction. These provide superb playability and control any unwanted feedback.

A pair of Seymour Duncan '59 humbuckers deliver sweet, old-school tone at the bridge and a warm, full-bodied sound with great sustain at the neck.

The H-535 performs well in any setting, and is perfect for rock, blues and more. Musicians will no doubt find it to be the only guitar they ever need.”

This Heritage H-535 is one of the best all-around semi-hollow bodies on the market right now. Its semi-hollow body construction provides wonderful inherent resonance that makes acoustic playing just as satisfying as when it is plugged in.

Amplified, its Seymour Duncan humbuckers take advantage of its construction, providing equal parts warmth and brightness with a fair dose of jazzbox woodiness, a tonal range that works well across a broad spectrum of genres.

The neck is comfortable and familiar, and offers outstanding playability in all positions.

This guitar is in excellent, as new condition. It was bought new last year and shows no player wear.

The only change made is some excellent Schaller bridge saddles custom cut by respected Sydney guitar tech Ben Collins. Ben has also given this guitar an excellent setup so it is playing better than the day it came off the Heritage production line.

Comes in its TKL hard case in new condition.
