From Guild –
“The jumbo bodied F-55 (formerly F-50R) produces an extraordinary amount of volume and warmth, matching a tight grained solid Sitka spruce top with solid maple back and sides for extraordinary separation and clarity. Its strong, focused bass response, sweet, singing mids, and crisp highs give it a distinctive voice that sets this guitar apart from all others.
Elegant cosmetic appointments include the classic Guild “V-block” inlays, gold Gotoh hardware, and a beautiful Nitrocellulose lacquer finish. Exceptional build quality and premium specifications make it a worthy heir to the historic Guild jumbo legacy.”

This Guild F-55 Jumbo was bought new direct from a Chicago retailer in 2019, because they were almost impossible to get in Australia. It is in absolutely as new condition. If you look in a certain angle of light you might be able to see some very light swirling on the pickguard, but that’s the only evidence of playing you’ll find on this one. It’s pretty much straight out of the box except that has had a pro setup and the action lowered very slightly. So it’s virtually a new guitar that has been tweaked to be even better than when it left the factory.
This is a stunning g guitar – some beautiful timbers and top flight craftmanship are combined in the best way possible. The one piece back is spectacular. And the sound is amazing – everything as described by Guild at the top of this description. Definitely a great alternative to high end Gibsons and Martins that occupy this level of the acoustic market.
Comes in its Guild hard case in new condition.
