This is a nice Gibson Les Paul Classic built in Nashville USA in 2002, finished in the relatively rare Desert Burst featuring a light quilt. It is an easy playing Les Paul with a super comfortable neck and big tone from a great set of pickups.
The cream binding and rosewood fingerboard complement the finish and complete its colour palette perfectly. The medium C shape neck is very easy to move around. In the first position it feels slim like a 60's guitar, but it does have some taper to it as you move up towards the body and it gets a little chunkier. This one feels very comfy – not too thin, and not too fat - just right for most players.

This Les Paul is a good one from 2002. It has been played, and there’s usually a good reason for that – it’s a damn good LP.
It has some buckle rash on the back but nothing through the lacquer. The neck and top are very clean. The frets show little sign of wear. The neck is straight and the truss rod is functioning perfectly.
In 2000, Gibson's BurstBuckers captured the subtle variations in true humbucker tone with historically accurate "unmatched" bobbin windings and an Alnico II magnet. Two years later, in keeping with Gibson's long history of experimentation and innovation in pickup design, Gibson developed an Alnico V BurstBucker specifically for Les Paul Standards and Classics.
The Burstbucker pickups with Alnico V magnets produce the most authentic, vintage Les Paul tone of any previous Standard pickups. They produce more bite and a seductive ‘airy’ tone with both pickups on.
This LP Classic is a good, straight guitar almost 20 years old but not showing its age too much. It is in unchanged condition with no issues and a good, strong neck. A nice, rock solid Gibson Les Paul with lots of miles left on the clock.
Comes in original Gibson hard case with inner shroud in good condition.
