The Gibson Les Paul Special was introduced in 1955 as a model to be an intermediate between the Gibson Les Paul Junior and the more expensive Gibson Les Paul Standard.
This 2005 USA Gibson Les Paul Special features a smooth and breathable satin vintage Heritage Cherry finish. The solid mahogany body is loaded with a pair of classic P-90 pickups which provide great clean and gritty distortion tones. Other features include a mahogany neck with a lovely rosewood fingerboard, a tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece, and vintage style tuners.
Please note this is not one of Gibson’s cheaper “Special Tribute” or “Junior Special” models – it is the real deal LP Special from 2005, with vintage correct specs.
