Frank uses his own proprietary relic techniques to painstakingly recreate the look and feel of an original 50s instrument. The hardware has been aged to give it that sexy dull patina of old metal. The fine detail of the lacquer checking technique is almost impossible to photograph – but we tried ! And the authentic player wear on the top \u0026amp; back simply makes it look \u0026amp; feel like a well loved instrument that has been well and truly played in.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eBut the pièce de résistance is the truly beautiful dark BRAZILIAN ROSEWOOD fingerboard personally installed by Mr Grubisa. Not even the Gibson Custom Shop can boast this feature as the wood is becoming so rare and in some cases, illegal to use.
