The Roland Ready Stratocaster is a made-in-Mexico Standard Strat with a Roland GK-2A pickup installed just in front of the bridge. This allows it to model various guitar and synth sounds when connected with compatible GR-series Roland devices. Included mini-switch and two additional buttons.
This package is a Roland Ready Fender Strat from 2000 along with a Roland GR-33 synth and 13 pin MIDI cable. These items have seen very little used and are in pristine condition.
The guitar can be played without the synth of course and is just a great Strat on that basis. Also it can be mixed gradually with synth sounds so that the guitar sound is high in the mix, or simply full on synth. There are endless possibilities.
Here’s the story –
Fender Stratocaster MIM with 3 tone sunburst body. The neck is maple, and the fretboard is rosewood. The neck has no fret wear at all. The Roland electronics are all installed internally, so only the hex pickup is visible at the bridge.
Controls are master volume, master tone, and synth pickup volume. There is a switch for magnetic pickups only, both magnetic and Roland, or Roland pickup only, and a momentary switch for cycling up and down through the patches.
This Strat dates to the year 2000 and the Roland GR 33 is from around 1998.

This is a great sounding and playing MIDI capable Roland Ready Strat. And the effects tracking is actually really good.
Jeff “Skunk” Baxter was on the R&D team and did a great job with ensuring the response from the string to the pickup and release of sound was as good as possible.
If you want some cool tech that is ready for you to make your own innovative sounds, studio or live this guitar is a blast. From strings to horns, from basses to keyboards, and a lot of cool, strange and interesting other FX, a very cool FX guitar… make up your own sounds!
Comes in a quality hard case in good condition.
