Looking for an accurate reincarnation of Fender's famed 1962 Strat? Then take a look at this Fender American Vintage '62 Reissue Stratocaster. For budgets that don't include big bucks to spend on an original 62 Strat, the AVRI '62 Reissue is just about as good as you can get.
The American Vintage Reissue Series originally debuted during the twilight of the CBS era in 1982, when the '57 and '62 Reissue models were still built at the Fullerton, CA plant. In 1985, production of the series moved to the Corona, California where it remained until Fender ceased production of this AVRI model some years ago.
The '62 Vintage Reissue model featured specifications matching the 1962 Stratocaster, including body contours, neck shape, vintage style tremolo and bridge.

If you’ve ever doubted the tonal effects that a quality nitro finish can have on a guitar then prepare to be informed. There’s a singing richness to the sound of the ’62 reissue that simply can’t be replicated by a poly-coated guitar. Add to this the classic tone of Fender’s reissue American Vintage ‘62 Strat single-coil pickups - they’re punchy, with a little more emphasis on the mid-tones - and you get a guitar that just oozes with that warm, organic, and airy early ’60s Strat sound.
Comes with its original Fender tweed hard shell case in good condition.
