Here’s a well built, accurate recreation of a Fender classic – the Standard Telecaster, we think made in Mexico in the early 2000s
From Fender – Before there was rock ‘n’ roll there was the Telecaster—the Fender guitar that started it all. From humble beginnings came a revolutionary and elegantly simple new electric guitar that let musicians be heard loud and clear with sparkling tone and distinctive style. “
This one is in the style of the mid 70s Teles with maple fingerboard, black dot markers, bullet truss rod, black pickguard, closed back F tuners, and finished in Vintage White. These MIM Teles are great value – accurate in their specs, and well built with good pickups & circuitry.
This Tele has had a mild neck shave so it feels a little slimmer in thickness, and with a light V contour. It feels fine in all positions and plays cleanly with a medium low action.
A big bonus with this one is the presence of a matched set of Fender Custom Shop ‘51 Nocaster pickups, which are widely regarded as some of the very best Tele pickups you can buy.

This is a very cool guitar. And it stands its ground as a mighty good player – capable of fulfilling its duty in any challenge you might want to put to it. This is a nice Mex made Tele with some very tasty Custom Shop Nocaster pickups to challenge the best. If you put the right components together in the right way, it doesn’t actually matter where the build takes place.
This 70s Style Tele has some natural player wear along with the light neck relic treatment as seen in the photos. Plenty no fret life left. All electrics are good, truss rod adjusts properly, mild tarnishing of the metal parts only.
Comes in an after market hard poly case in good condition.
