The result is a fabulous 50s style Fender Stratocaster created from genuine USA components. It has been professionally set up and plays great.
The "Soft V" neck profile is very comfortable – not really a lot of “V” here, and certainly enough wood to grab a hold of without being “big”, and the 9.5" radius fingerboard enhances playability. Other authentic touches include vintage-tall frets, original-era body contours, vintage-style hardware-including a six-point synchronized tremolo bridge, and a lacquer finish that not only lets the wood "breathe" naturally with resonant tone.
With all the above specs taken into account it pretty much describes a new Fender American Original 50s Stratocaster (RRP A$2999), but with upgraded pickups.
Custom wiring sees the top tone pot controlling the neck and middle pickups. The lower tone knob controls the bridge pickup only. There is no backplate or trem arm with this one, but both can be easily sourced if required.
This guitar is in brand new condition with no player wear evident. It has been used sporadically in a home and studio setting, and is ready to rock.
Comes in an Extreme gig bag in new condition.
